Starter:  Was there an insight, an observation, or a thought from the message that spoke to you?

Exploration:

n  Read 1 Timothy 6:11-12

n  In this passage Paul speaks of running away from something.  Review 1 Timothy 6:3-10.  What is Paul telling Timothy to run from?

n  Paul also tells Timothy to pursue or hunt down the following: righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.  In your opinion, how would you live your life if you were hunting down these things?  Right now, which one or two values do you need to prioritize?

n  Timothy is told to fight the good fight.  What would is the different between a good fight of faith and a bad fight of faith?

n  “Take hold of eternal life.”  What is Paul trying to say to Timothy and to us?

n  The idea of “taking hold of eternal life” is connected with “making the good confession.”  What is the good confession referring to?  How does making a good confession help us take hold of eternal life?

n  After hearing the message today, what is your next step?
