LIFE GROUP Discussion Guide
Paul: Confront     Galatians 2:11-21     ADBC 6-4/5-17
Note to Leaders: Every small group is different, so we are providing a summary study with additional resources in the Going Deeper section. Please choose the questions that relate best to your particular group.
Starter:  Have you ever had to confront someone for something that you know needed to be corrected?  How did they react?  How did this make you feel?
Engage and Connect
  • Have you ever seen people change the way they treated you or someone else based on who was around?  Why do you think someone would do this?
  • Was Paul right in confronting Peter in front of all of the believers present or should he had done it in private?
  • Do you lean more toward legalism or relativism?  How does this effect the way you deal with others?
  • Tim Keller stated that embracing the truth of the Gospel is a selfless way to live.  Why do you think he believes this?  Do you?
  • Is there something in your life that keeps you from embracing the truth of the Gospel?
  • Is there someone you feel you need to confront because of the truth of the Gospel? (Please keep this anonymous within class discussion.)
  • Can you share your 45 second story? (Before I met Christ I was ______, ______, and _______.  Now that I have accepted Christ I am ______, _________, and _________.)
  • What is the greatest thing about the Gospel you would like to share and celebrate?
Prayer:  Lord please grant me the wisdom to know whether to confront the Gospel reality in me, in others, or in the unconnected.
